The Overall Look That Photographs Best

 

Think soft, natural, and timeless.


  • The sweet spot:

neutral tones + soft color + gentle texture + movement


  • Outfits should feel like they belong together, not identical.

 

Best Colors

 

You can’t go wrong building around these tones:


Neutrals

  • Cream, ivory, beige, sand, soft white, light gray, tan
  • Soft Coastal Colors
  • Dusty blue, sage, muted teal, chambray, blush, faded denim, soft navy
  • Warm Earth Tones (beautiful under live oaks)
  • Olive, rust, terracotta, warm browns, soft mustard

 

What to Avoid

 

These tend to pull attention away from faces and date photos quickly:


  • Neon or very bright colors
  • Large logos or graphics
  • Busy patterns
  • Matching everyone exactly
  • Athletic sneakers (unless part of a branding look)
  • Solid black outfits
  • Metalics
  • Stiff or uncomfortable clothing
