A Relaxed Experience From Start to Finish
How it Works
From your first inquiry to receiving your finished gallery, I want the entire experience to feel simple, relaxed, and easy to navigate.
I’ll guide you through each step—from booking and planning the details to your session day and gallery delivery—so you always know what comes next.
STEP 01
Get in Touch
Complete my contact form and tell me a little about the session you’re envisioning, including who will be participating, the dates you’re considering, and any location ideas you may have.
I’ll respond with availability, session recommendations, and the information you need to decide if we’re the right fit.
STEP 02
Reserve Your Session
Once we’ve found the perfect date and session, I’ll send over everything you need to officially get on my calendar.
You’ll complete a short questionnaire, sign your photography agreement, and pay your session fee.
Your booking links are available for 48 hours, and your date is officially reserved once the session fee has been paid.
STEP 03
Plan Your Session
Your questionnaire helps me get to know what you’re envisioning so we can start planning the details right from the beginning.
We’ll finalize your location, timing, and any other details based on your session and vision. You’ll also receive my private preparation guide with wardrobe inspiration, helpful tips, and everything you need to feel ready for your session.

STEP 04
Session Day
This is the fun part.
My sessions are relaxed, lightly guided, and focused on genuine connection. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’ll also leave plenty of room for movement, laughter, and those little in-between moments.
Most portrait sessions last approximately 30–60 minutes. We don’t have to use every minute—the goal is to create a beautiful variety of images without making the experience feel forced.
STEP 05
A Little Sprinkle
I know waiting is hard!
I typically share one or two little “sprinkles” from your session on Instagram the next day—a first peek at a few of the moments we captured together.

STEP 06
Your Gallery
Your finished gallery will be delivered within approximately 7–14 days.
Portrait galleries typically include approximately 40–60 thoughtfully curated and professionally edited images, depending on your session type. Each gallery is carefully selected to capture the genuine moments, connections, and details that make your experience unique.
From there, you can choose your favorites and purchase individual images, an image collection, or your complete gallery.
Professional-quality prints and products are also available directly through your gallery.
Intimate Gatherings & Celebrations
Planning a small wedding, family celebration, milestone, or other intimate gathering? The process is just as simple, with a little additional planning to make sure the coverage fits your event.
We’ll discuss your timeline, important people, meaningful details, and the moments you would especially love captured. Coverage is available from 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the size and flow of your celebration.
After your event, you’ll receive a private, hand-edited gallery featuring approximately 150–300 images, depending on your selected coverage. You’ll be able to view your complete gallery before choosing individual images, an image collection, or the Complete Event Gallery.
FAQs
When should we schedule our beach session?
Beach sessions are scheduled at sunrise or during Magic Hour—the hour before sunset.
These times provide the soft, flattering light, cooler temperatures, and beautiful colors featured throughout my portfolio. Exact session times vary throughout the year based on sunrise and sunset.
Can we schedule our beach session earlier in the evening or later in the morning because of our children?
I completely understand that young children have schedules!
However, the soft light featured throughout my portfolio comes from photographing close to sunrise or sunset. If bedtime or early mornings are a concern, I recommend adjusting naps when possible or considering a session during the spring, fall, or winter, when sunrise is later and sunset is earlier.
I’ll also structure the session so we capture the most important portraits first while younger children are fresh and engaged.
What happens if the weather looks uncertain?
Coastal weather can change quickly. Forecasts often predict storms that never arrive, or a brief shower may pass through and leave us with a beautiful sky.
Because of this, I don’t make weather decisions several days in advance. I monitor conditions carefully and stay in touch as your session approaches.
Clouds, light wind, or the possibility of a brief shower do not automatically mean we need to reschedule. If severe weather, lightning, heavy rain, high winds, or unsafe conditions are expected, we’ll work together to find the best alternative during your stay whenever possible.
Depending on availability, that may mean changing the session date or moving between sunrise and Magic Hour.
If we are unable to find another suitable time during your visit because of weather, your non-refundable session fee will be applied as a credit toward a future session in accordance with your Photography Agreement.
Can multiple family members access the gallery?
Absolutely!
Your private gallery is easy to share with family members and loved ones. This is especially helpful for extended families, gatherings, and events because everyone can view the same collection.
Purchased high-resolution images may be downloaded and shared for personal use according to the included print release.
What is the best image-purchase option for a large family?
Most extended families find that purchasing the Complete Gallery and sharing it with everyone is the easiest and most cost-effective option.
However, you are never required to decide in advance. You’ll view your complete gallery first and then choose the purchase option that works best for your family.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Mini sessions are offered on select dates throughout the year with a predetermined date, location, and limited availability.
They are a wonderful option when you want a quick update or a small collection of photographs. For a more personalized experience with additional time, variety, groupings, and a relaxed pace, I recommend a full session.

Intimate Gatherings and Celebrations are available with coverage ranging from 1.5 to 3 hours.
When do we choose and purchase our images?
You’ll make your selections after your gallery is delivered.
You’ll have the opportunity to view all of your curated, hand-edited images before deciding whether you would like individual photographs, an image collection, or the Complete Gallery.
